Welcome to our 6th and most special edition yet – a voyage that is all about alignment in every aspect of our lives, culminating in a moment of Totality when the earth, sun, and moon dance in perfect harmony.
Starting and ending from the very accessible Icelandic capital of Reykjavik, our journey will take us to the seldom-seen and remote coastline of East Greenland, a territory of historic indigenous pride and contemporary political controversy.
Much of Greenland is made of the second-oldest ice sheet in the world, second only to Antarctica. Explorers have felt the pull of Greenland’s allure for more than a hundred years, seeking out its untouched wilderness, arctic wildlife, enchanting small settlements, and stunning cliffs. As most of the country is covered in ice, only the coastal regions are inhabited. East Greenland features the world’s largest national park which is at the heart of our expedition and where we will voyage to behold majestic fjords and encounters with the tiniest of towns. The huge tundra expanses are home to musk oxen, caribou, polar bears, Arctic hares, wolves, foxes, and the park’s coastal inlets provide a haven for seals, walruses and whales.
Led by indigenous elders and orbital awe, we will co-create programming that leads us all to the truest form of alignment – with ourselves, each other, and the planet – while beholding the celestial magic of a total solar eclipse. Wow it's Now.
